South Korea’s men’s basketball team suffered a disaster in Hangzhou. It’s their worst Asian Games performance ever.

The South Korean men’s basketball team, led by head coach Chu Il-seung, fell to Iran 82-89 in the first game of the men’s basketball standings at the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games on Thursday (Feb. 4) at Zhejiang University Zhejiang Gymnasium in Hangzhou, China. Korea fell to 7-8th place.

The lingering effects of Korea’s group stage loss to Japan’s second-ranked team lingered. They were limited by China and fell short against a not-quite-as-strong Iran in the championship game. Whether South Korea finishes seventh or eighth, it will be their worst Asian Games finish ever. Their previous worst Asian Games finish was fifth in Doha 2006.바카라사이트
