Sky Sports in the U.K. reported on Monday (Nov. 21), “Tottenham will have first dibs if Kane pushes for a return to the PL. If another PL club makes an offer for Kane while he is still at Bayern Munich, Tottenham will be entitled to the same terms. Ultimately, it’s up to Kane to decide if he wants to return to Tottenham,” the report said.
Kane has played for Tottenham for nearly a decade and is one of the club’s all-time greats. He has surpassed Jimmy Greaves as the club’s all-time leading goalscorer. He also has the second-most goals (213) in the Premier League (PL) behind Alan Shearer. He is just 48 goals away from breaking the record.
Last season, he also scored 30 goals in all competitions in the PL. He was second in league scoring behind Elling Holland (Manchester City, 36). With the exception of Son Heung-min, who bounced back in the second half of the season, most of the strikers have been plagued by injuries and poor form.
