The South Korean men’s national team lost 56-66 in the fifth-to-eighth place game against Romania at the 31st Summer Universiade in Chengdu, China, on Thursday.
Lee Jung-hyun had his best performance of the tournament with 20 points, including four 3-pointers, but it wasn’t enough to prevent the team from losing. Lee Geun-hwi also hit two three-pointers, but his overall three-point accuracy was poor. They were also outrebounded 29-45.
